Right when you first started this forum, (a long time ago) you posted a tune, and you presented it as a jungle drum pattern and I remember it had bass. That's all I remember. First of all, do you remember that? And secondly, please post it again, it was pretty cool. Sorry to be so vague.
That was a tune from a recording I did with Gary Dourdan (now of CSI fame)..

Gary plays several instruments and makes some great music. We improvised some stuff at his studio and he put this together. Not a final mix by any means.

The intro which I originally wrote out is a just a two-bar loop. But you're correct, the full loop is four-bars. I've attempted to write it out and redid the transcription. There are additional kick drums dropped on top of the loop - I'm guessing they were added later (samples?) and that Steve didn't play those. I notated them where Middle C would be if this were in treble clef instead of drum clef. I did this on headphones, and there's a lot of other stuff going on, so it's hard for me to discern Steve's original part beneath it all. As a result, the last two measures of the four-bar pattern may not be 100% accurate. Have fun!
